I’m Taylor Vranish!—an artist, educator, and art therapy graduate student based in Michigan with over a decade of experience supporting children through creativity, care, and emotional connection. Born and raised in Metro Detroit, I spent six years in NYC immersed in the creative world before returning to Michigan, where I now focus my work on children’s emotional development, special needs support, and creative learning. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (summa cum laude) and am currently earning my Master’s degree in Art Therapy. So far, I’ve completed these classes at the Master’s level:

  • Introduction to Art Therapy & Ethics

  • Art Therapy with Children and Adolescents

  • Studio Art Therapy

  • Art Therapy with Groups

  • Art Therapy: Assessment and Practice with Adults and Families

  • Theory of Art Therapy

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in many roles—as a live-in, overnight, and special needs nanny; a CLS respite worker supporting adopted & foster care children with mental health challenges; an emotional impairment para-educator and teacher; and a teaching artist for children with College for Creative Studies Non Profit, Community Arts Partnership. I’m CPI certified (Crisis Prevention Intervention), Trauma Informed Care Certified & CPR certified. In NYC, I worked a wide range of jobs—from Live In Nannying to Social Media Curating, Photo Production and Hospitality as well as Special Events Coordinator at The Django Jazz Club in Tribeca. Eventually, I built a small business as a creative photo producer, collaborating with international artists and celebrities, and contributing to campaigns and publications such as American EagleTRESemmé, Numero Russia, Flaunt Magazine, Leica S Magazine. Photography and painting became powerful outlets that supported me in processing life’s challenges and rediscovering a sense of creative freedom.

My journey into healing work is deeply personal and rooted in a life shaped by resilience, creativity, and transformation. It has been shaped by both challenges and healing, which deepened my empathy and inspired me to support others, especially sensitive children (like myself in the past). Though I initially pursued a career in law, an internship at an intellectual property firm revealed that my true calling was rooted in creativity and human connection. At age 19, I made the decision to leave college and move to New York City, where I would spend the next six years immersed in artistic exploration, personal growth, and professional evolution.

At age 25, my focus shifted. I entered recovery by choice, beginning a transformative journey into sobriety, self-reflection, and healing. Through therapy, inner child healing, 12-step work, buddhist healing readings, and reconnecting with my own creativity and nature, I began to rebuild my relationship with my true self. I rediscovered the little girl who loved coloring with her grandpa, cared deeply for animals, and found joy in magical stories. This healing journey sparked my calling to support others, especially children and teens, in their own emotional growth. Today, as the founder of Taylor’s Creative Healing Services, LLC, I combine my background in art, healing & storytelling to create safe, expressive environments for young people. Whether I’m in a school, a home, or a studio, my approach is rooted in empathy, playfulness, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. I create spaces where children feel safe to express themselves, regulate emotions, and build meaningful connections through art, imagination, and trust. I believe every child deserves to be seen not just for their challenges, but for their creativity, their spirit, and their magic. Whether through paint, song writing, photography, or playful imagination, I help children and teens tap into their own inner healing power.

One of the most joyful parts of my work is bringing along my 13-pound dog, Zoey. She’s calm, loving, and incredibly intuitive with kids. Children often tell me that Zoey makes them feel happy, safe, and loved—her presence adds comfort and warmth to every experience, and she’s become a gentle companion in many of the children’s healing and growth. This work is not just my career—it’s my passion and purpose. I’m honored to bring my heart, training, and creativity into every space I step into, helping young people access their inner healing through imagination, art, and connection.
